Sarah Elliott, ACC, CPA
Sarah’s purpose is creating ways for others to live their dreams. Her passion is empowering and connecting women leaders. After a fourteen year career in public accounting, she left the leadership team of a regional CPA firm in 2014 to live her purpose more fully and launched Ellivate Coaching. (Read Sarah’s story.)
In 2017, Sarah founded the Ellivate Alliance, a dream team of women business owners whose mission is to elevate the success of other women entrepreneurs. Through the power of collaboration, the Ellivate Alliance provides women who are starting a business in professional services the inspiration, practical know-how and like-minded community to accelerate their growth during the critical start-up phase. They simplify business and life for these women by providing education, coaching and access to high-quality resources in one easy place, at an affordable price.
In 2016, Sarah co-founded Intend2Lead, a leadership development firm that coaches CPAs to access the Dimension of Possible, with fellow executive coach Brian Kush. Through one-to-one coaching, group learning and innovation labs, Intend2Lead co-creates unique solutions with their clients to translate their vision into reality.
Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Sarah consistently balanced client service, firm management and industry leadership throughout her career as a practicing CPA. She spent ten years at PwC, where she performed a two-year rotation in their National Office. Sarah was more recently the national audit partner-in-charge of a high-growth, regional CPA firm and served on its executive and human resources committees. Her responsibilities included oversight of training and development, firm strategy, personnel management, technical accounting and auditing leadership, firm policy and methodology, and quality control.
Sarah is an author, speaker and instructor on coaching and leadership development and an advocate for women leaders.

In 2017 and 2018, Sarah was recognized by AICPA and AICPA Practice Advisor as one of the Most Powerful Women in Accounting. She also received the AWSCPA President’s Award and was recognized as a Rising Star by the TSCPA in 2017.
Sarah holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a credentialed coach through the International Coach Federation. She earned a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a licensed CPA in Texas.
Sarah resides in beautiful Austin, Texas with her husband, Brandon, son, Ethan, and dog, Molly.
